News for February 2026

February News.

February confirms a strong trend:

The number of calls is on the rise.

We receive many requests for information and assistance, but also a lot of late requests. Too late.

All too often, we still find that victims:

have undergone their medical evaluation on their own,
have accepted a settlement offer without legal representation,
or contact us after being turned down by a lawyer.

Behind every call, there is a case that should have been addressed sooner.

We remain committed.

Our daily life consists of:

follow-ups with insurers,
contacts with law enforcement,
requests to district attorney's offices,

and a constant presence by the victims' side.

Administrative delays do not directly affect us.
But for a victim, every delay is an additional ordeal.
And all too often, explanations are slow in coming.

This month

No official institutional meetings, but rather:

✔️ Phone conversations about an exciting upcoming project… we’ll tell you more soon.
✔️ A video conference with a student working on a road safety project. Lacking guidance, she was moving forward on her own. We decided to support her. She will present her work to three classes at her high school. We provided her with one of our videos to offer strong and impactful support.
✔️ Participation in a Senate symposium dedicated to the LAPI system.

Every month confirms one reality:
victims need to be heard, guided, and supported.
