We have been asked to draft a bill on traffic accidents that addresses three key areas: road safety, victim care, and the justice system.
A traffic accident is one thing; reckless driving is another.
In order to draft a bill that accurately reflects the realities on the ground—taking into account the experiences of victims, their families, and road users—we are launching a survey that will help us craft legislation that everyone can understand, ensuring that the changes are not met with resistance and, above all, that they are fair.
The idea is that this project belongs to all of us—it’s ours, not that of a political party—because, just like illness, it could affect anyone tomorrow, so we really need your help.
