News for January 2026

The association's January news.

No breaks and plenty of calls during this first month of the year.

The lack of resources, both within law enforcement and the judicial system, is really making itself felt.

As for the processing and response times of insurance companies, they are simply unacceptable, causing victims great financial and psychological distress.

We don't have any meetings scheduled at the start of the year, but we've reached out to the DGGN again to move forward with a partnership project.

Locally, the police officers who use our guide and distribute it to victims are satisfied with the level of information provided and the resources made available to assist victims.

Our discussions also allow them to see the delaying tactics employed by many insurers.

We have also re-established contact with the Interministerial Delegation for Road Safety following our last meeting, but there has been no significant progress to date.

We hope that the new interministerial delegate will be committed to addressing the needs of victims.

To wrap up the month, we spoke with employees at SADE’s Melun facility to discuss life after the accident.

Finally, as we do at the start of every year, we have finalized our projected budget and begun responding to calls for proposals, among other things.
